The Career Foundation is a results-oriented, non-profit organization and registered charity that has been connecting job seekers and employers since 1988! Currently operating from 7 locations across the GTHA, we help thousands of people successfully accomplish their employment goals each year. We are committed to providing the highest quality service possible to ensure that our job seeker clients and our employer partners reach their goals.
If you are a person with a disability who is looking for individualized assistance to get employed, The Career Foundation’s Empowering Abilities program is designed for you!
Through the Empowering Abilities program, you can get:
• Job placements and job coaching
• Job-specific certifications
• First Aid/CPR and WHMIS training
• Wage subsidies for job placements
• And more!
Please note that eligible participants must have little or no recent attachment to the labour force, and must be willing to participate in different program elements over a duration of 10 weeks.
